She never cooks. EVER.

Then again, neither do I.

It's almost done and it smells really good, but I'm nervous! :scared:

1. Just make sure the chicken isn't rare.
:scared:

Hey, you! How are you doing?

:loveya:

2. It's been cooking
for a really long time...so I don't think it's rare! LOL!

That would be rather horrid.

I'm doin' good! Took a bit of a chill this weekend because I start teaching tomorrow (!!). It was great to just lay around and do nothing. :D

How've you been?

4. Ugh. Just the opposite. So much to do this weekend
and not nearly enough time.

We're doing a facelift in the kitchen, so all the food/dishes are in the family room, (much to BoyMidlo's delight)

I have a major project due this week. My broken tooth started hurting again tonight. My car got hit in the parking lot. I have laundry to do up the wazoo. I DID manage to get to the grocery store.

Ugh. Just a busy, not fun weekend. And, topping it all off, the kids have school tomorrow, so I can't even sleep a bit later.

Poor, poor me.

7. Ewwwww
:(

I have a long string of not-fun weekends coming up, so I took advantage of this one.

But a broken tooth and your car getting hit (omg, was it the MidloVan?!)...on top of crazy business, well, that's just shitty.

9. It was. The poor MidloVan.
And, to top it off, Mr. Midlo took it TO THE DUMP because our trash pickup folks went out of business.

Grounds for divorce, I think.

3. My dear huskerlaw!
OK, what Midlo said, OK?

No salmonella for my friends!

And...

How's your cold?

And how did your work for JE go?

I did some tabling today for my local Dem club, and they told me that yesterday they re-registered a number of former Republicans!

5. Look for pink before eating...check!
;)

The cold is better. I'm still sniffly (is that a word?), but the fever's gone, and my voice is back! :D

I actually tabled for JE this morning. The response we get changes every week...increasingly positive, which is really good to see.

We actually just put up a sign this week saying we had voter reg forms. That was HUGELy popular. Though I'm not sure there are any Republicans in my area!

6. Yup, sniffly is a word!
I'm glad to hear he's doing well...

I hope he gives Hilary a run for her money, I do!

8. Honestly
I think the general public is JUST NOW even starting to think about politics.

There's no way any of the polls are accurate.

We put out a sign today saying "121 days until California's primary!" and the shocked looks were amusing. It's completely off the radar of the vast majority of people.

We'd been hearing a lot of "omg, that's so far away, I haven't even thought about it," but once they saw the sign, it turned to, "sooo...tell me about John Edwards...umm...I haven't been paying attention at all!"

:eyes:
