I played Halo 3 for the first time last night. Ask me anything!
Now I want an XBox 360, and I can't afford one. I mean, I CAN, but I'm not going to get one quite yet.

Sigh. Someday, my dear amazing first-person interactive shooter. Someday...

1. Yeah, I'm in a similar boat... I CAN get a 360... but I shouldn't.

2. It's a very fine line to walk.
The 360 would serve no purpose in my life, except to provide me some excellent entertainment, but that isn't QUITE enough to justify buying one for myself. I suppose I could always ask my parents to get me one for Christmas but... Well, we'll see how things go down the next couple of months.

9. It COULD serve a purpose for me, but I'm not quite at a point where it could right now.
I'm an amateur/indie game designer, and Microsoft has put out some development software for the 360 for free. Unfortunately I'm not quite good enough with C# for it to be worth it yet.

3. I have both.
I love Halo 3. My favorite game for the XBox 360 is Oblivion though. Oblivion alone is worth getting an XBox 360. If Halo 3 came out before Oblivion, I wouldn't have been in such a rush to get an XBox 360.

4. I've loved the Bungie crowd ever since the "Marathon" games.
Glad to hear that they are splitting from Microsoft.

Maybe now they'll be able to write games specifically designed for the Mac. (which we all know is God's computer)

8. My friend was disappointed at the amount of gameplay.
He said he finished it in about 9 hours.

12. We actually weren't playing the campaign/story line.
Just a bunch of XBox Live stuff with big groups - Slayer, Territories, so on and so forth. Still lots o' fun.
