Shit, my neighbor cross the street is man handling his kid
She's about 15 or 16, I think. He push her into the car and then she went into the house and he's on her tail and just slammed the door.

Yesterday something happened between her and her boyfriend, the boy was crying and the girl was hauled in the house by the dad.

Shit I hate this crap. I know none of my business.

Ok, it looks like the mom is taking the kid where she needs to go.

Drama it's what's for breakfast.

1. Hard to watch that kind of crap...but if it looks like she is being abused...
you might want to consider calling the police.

2. It's difficult not to notice sometimes..
I've got a neighbor across the road that has no kids but one day this summer her neice was there and WOW is all I can say. The neice has a daughter in 5th grade I think. We heard shrieking and looked over there and the daughter was shoving the Mom really hard. They're about the same size anyway as Mom is on the shorter side. Then the girl took off with Mom running after her.

3. I saw a quite large woman give a quite small child four cracks on the butt yesterday
I really wanted to ask her why the fuck she was assaulting the child, but I knew that, sadly, it would have accomplished nothing. Heck, even if a cop had seen her do it, I don't know that it's severe enough to qualify as abuse.

I hate that.

I'm twice the height of my three-year-old son, and I weigh about seven times what he does. Even when he frustrates me or is behaving in a particularly naughty way, I just can't justify the idea of a full-grown man smacking a toddler like that, barring some really extreme circumstances. Even absent any other considerations, what would that kind of one-sided use of force teach him?

Heck, even when he's fifteen, I don't know how I could strike him with any more justification than I'd have to strike any other fifteen-year-old I happened to meet.

YMMV, of course.

5. wow, wonder what happened?
wonder if the boy/girl got into some sort of trouble, and parents just found out or something. still, there is no reason to be pushing and hauling into the house.

The girl who lived across the street from me used to have some real problems with the boyfriend. He was an idiot who yelled, and yelled and stomped and acted like a complete fool about once every 3 months or so. He would leave and all would be well for a few weeks, then she would take him back (stupid move). She has since moved, and hopefully moved on from her idiot boyfriend.
