4. As busy as you are,
Im impressed that you were able to cook that much! I would have to take a day off work to come up with a menu like that.

When is the NYC marathon? I may have to sign up for that next year and see the city.

3. I hope there are leftovers.
That's a lot of cooking for one meal. I'd avoid the kitchen for days after that.

On the other hand, if you invited me over for that feast I'd make a pig of myself.

To answer your question, I made moussaka on Friday, ate Burmese and Afghan food in SF restaurants on Saturday and didn't cook at all on Sunday because the SO made spaghetti with Bolognese sauce.

Sourdough bread and veggied with Guacamole

Artichoke heart and olive salad

Thai spinach (cooked in sweet curry and coconut milk) with mock chicken
served over Basmati Rice made with mushroom broth

Pasta with homemade pest sauce and roasted vegetables

Vegetable gumbo with mock sausage

Biscotti, homemade cookies and assorted other sweets for dessert.

And lots of alcohol that we barely touched.

14. Nice! You are far more ambitious than I!
I can't remember what I made on Friday. Homemade pizza?
On Saturday, the kids had to eat canned soup and leftover spaghetti, because I had no time to make dinner due to Jack having ANOTHER shit-smearing party all over his room. It took me half the afternoon to clean it.
Yesterday, the kids had wild-rice stuffed pork chops and salad. My husband had a mini pork-roasty thing stuffed with olives, cheese, sausage, and pepperoni, and I had some box dinner thing, because I can't stand pork.

15. My friends cooked for me and two other couples
We were staying at their lake house in CT. - the foliage wasn't peak yet but was gorgeous none the less.

They made ribs with homemade BBQ sauce, shrimp with cocktail sauce with fresh horse radish, homemade cobbler with vanilla icecream. That was Sat. night, Sunday we went out for breakfast. Then they sent us home with leftovers.

I am so glad I played 4 hours of tennis Sat and Sunday.

18. how many cousins does Lisa have???
That is a lot of food...how exhausted were you afterward? Sounds wonderful though, I hope everyone had a great time.

Last night I made tonkatsu with japanese rice and steamed broccoli. Saturday we went out for dinner at a new and highly disappointing restaurant. :(

23. Swiss Steak and mashed potatoes Sunday night
Steak and asparagus Saturday night.

Feeling rather carniverous after a week with a very severe cold/virus/flu-like syndrome/something that laid me low.
