I wish I could use the "ignore function" at work. I mean completely erase some people.

I refuse to call some of my co-workers co-workers.I know that not everyone has the same personality and everyone has their something. But some people I will never understand. We all get paid the same damn thing, you are not saving the company. New York does not care anything about you - what you do is no more important than the next person. Stop snitching ! Stop telling on everyone else to make yourself look good.I swear I am going to be in Human Resources any day now for being anti-social but if someone gets on my nerves I have the right to mind my own business elsewhere right ? I would rather work alone than to deal with some people.

I am quickly understanding why some girls strip through college. This place is bad for my damn health.End rant.

1. ALL U.S. business has become like that.
Unless you are planning to join the Peace Corps, you'd best get used to it. Every industry from manufacturing to sales to medicine is going that route.

Sorry kiddo, that's just the way it is until the Socialist Revolution.

4. I know TD.
I just had one of those nights where I realized that there are assholes all around.

Funny you talk about the Peace Corps because the movie "Volunteers" with Tom Hanks,Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks is playing on Bravo.

2. I've had several people say and/or do stupid stuff here at work.
They look at me funny when I say, "Welcome to my ignore list."

3. Me too. "I would rather work alone than to deal with some people"

I'm fortunate now in that I'm in a job where I'm not around co-workers much. But I've had some in the past that were real doozies.

5. ...and that's EXACTLY why I love my job..
among other reasons.
If I don't like someone, I can just get up and walk away (usually). If I don't like another girl, same thing, and a short time in the locker room can be avoided by doing my makeup before I come in.
And if you act crazy, it's ok, you're 'just a stripper'. Sometimes that can be a damn handy excuse.
(of course, other times it sucks, so you gotta be prepared to deal with the fallout. But, I digress)
Sorry you're having such a shitty time.

The real world isn't the Internet. Grow-up and learn to ignore stupid shit.

9. It's like that where I work.
In manufacturing.

Everyone snitches on each other. What's really bad is that this is a union job! Aren't we all supposed to stick together instead of tattling on each other?

And my coworkers wonder why I remain antisocial. :eyes:

10. I think you understand where I am coming from ...
and why I am venting ... I work in the same field.

We don't have a union and the snitching is a BIG problem. There are co-workers who I know that call the manager on the weekend to snitch. How do I know ?The person told us that he does.

Everyone wants to get to the top.I wanted to too but now I don't care about it anymore.I just want to go to college.I am doing so in January.

14. I have a co-worker like that
Although he doesn't do it to make himself look good. At least I don't think so. And anyway one of our co-workers sometimes deserves it. I, of course, never do. LOL.

Another co-worker is just a complete asshole. He makes me so angry sometimes I could just strangle him.
