no/text ??? That makes no/sense.

nt.

better, should be in the DU manual of style.

actually anything without a slash works for me. i'm just so anal, a slash should only be used for things that have slashes between them. i'd like to be more specific but i went to public school after prop 13 was passed, so, like i'm all, whatever...

As well as n.t. vs. N.T., and nt vs. NT?

Oh the trauma of it all.

I have to confess that I do usually use an oblique when writing a date (obviously putting it the right way round dd/mm/yy) even though a stop would be more naturally correct - just because dd.mm.yy looks ugly.
