i'm trying to find some GOOD desktop wallpapers...

anyone have any suggestion or favorite sites?? i'm trying to find stuff that is free, good quality, hi-res and WITHOUT watermarks or spyware...Most of what I've found is below par.

I usually have cars, but i'm growing tired of them and want some land/seascapes, city scenes, oceanfronts, etc...thanks in advance...

Today's isn't too hot, but yesterdays was cool. If you're into space images, it's really the best place on the 'Net. HubbleSite.Org also has a beautiful collection of Hubble images, but it's much smaller than the APOD archive.

shouted it even, but the stuff at http://www.digitalblasphemy.com/ is very, very nice. The free stuff is watermarked however, subtly, but it's there.

5. if you like space stuff the Nasa web site has tons

of really beautiful pix from the Hubble and stuff. I've got a gorgeous one of the Milky Way as my wallpaper right now and prior to that a shot of the moon.

7. yeah, i've used their stuff in the past

and liked it...for whatever the reason, i'm sort of obsessive-compulsive about the wallpaper, and change it frequently --so i guess i'm always looking for new, untapped sources, lol

Resolution is lower in older pics; don't know how high a level you're looking for, but it's a nice browse.

13. Check out my

journal. I have found a lot of great pictures by going to "Images" and just typing in certain words on subjects I'm interested in to be searched. I save the ones I like into my "background" or "screen saver" folders.
