Synopsis: During his record-setting tenure as coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Bo won thirteen Big Ten titles and finished as the winningest football coach in the school's storied history. But if you asked him, his most important achievement was having a remarkably positive impact on the hundreds of athletes he coached. The vast majority of Bo's players have gone on to live extraordinarily meaningful lives after their years in Ann Arbor-whether as successful doctors, educators, coaches, lawyers, and CEOs, or as stars in the NFL.

In these pages, you'll hear Bo's distinctive voice as he shares the principles he applied on the football field and in the locker room to create a football dynasty, and he'll tell you how you can apply his insights to any leadership role. His words will educate, motivate, and inspire-just as the man himself did every day.

3. It's not that but you said it was a review and everything in the post was
something you can find online with no review in sight.

27. You are right, JVS. Here's a new post on my background, which I will put up on my new journal.
Audio Al Background

Audio Al is a graduate Electrical Engineer who has had a lifelong love affair with works of fiction. Early on, determined to know good from bad, he devoted himself to the classics…even while studying the technical courses that were required to earn his BSEE. He excelled in math and even completed all of that upper level math course work needed for an MSEE. Some of his favorite early authors were Charles Dickens, Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky and Emile Zola. How many other people do you know who actually read Tolstoy’s “War and Peace”? Maybe it was a result of being the son of a Russian immigrant.

Al’s favorite genre is Science Fiction. For him this does not include Fantasy, although he occasionally does read some of this too. He has read all of the Dune books including the prequels and sequels co-authored by Frank’s son, Brian, and Kevin J. Anderson. He loved Anne Rice’s Vampire and Witches series and is sad that she has gone in different direction after finding religion. He says that Rice’s writings were very rich and well done.

Al has read a goodly amount of horror and mystery/suspense novels. He is always reading something…lately with audio books so available…is always listening to something. He has read/listened to almost all of John Grisham’s novels – an easy read, he says –and prefers David Baldacci’s work. He has grown weary of Stephen King, and he has really turned off on Clive Cussler.

Al with his wife Radio_Lady Ellen have traveled much of the world and they continue to visit new places every year, but not before loading up his MP3 players with four or five new books.

52. Larry King has achieved in this world. What is your point?
Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 12:11 AM by Audio_Al
You might acquaint yourself with that master page at www.achievement.org

There's a very interesting interview with Mr. King, who dated my wife in Florida when they were both just young broadcasters. Larry was largely responsible for encouraging Ellen to apply for a job as a screener on his late night talk show radio format in Miami. It turned out to be a lucky break for her -- and it brought her to the attention of the programmers at Boston's CBS station WEEI-AM just at a time when they were looking for a woman to host a daytime talk show.

16. A good man but I want to point out some of his faults
-Never won a National Championship although he was given ample talent
-If it wasn't for John Cooper he would've had a losing record against Ohio State, he was owned by Earl Bruce and pretty much split the difference with Woody.

Other than that he was one helluva coach.

Edited on Thu Oct-25-07 11:07 PM by Audio_Al
If you didn't get it, it probably means the feature is not available until I make a donation.

The answer to your question is "no." Ellen and I are are volunteers at our local PBS radio station here in Portland. Ellen has been doing this since the year 2000; I've recently joined her on the husband-and-wife shows. In case you are interested, my main volunteering now is with the Democrats in our county, as well as a new venture with a tutoring group here in town teaching English as a second language to foreign students of all ages.

On Oregon Public Broadcasting, we present a variety of entertainment features on an audio show called "Kimball & Company." All of the material we use is part of the perks given to the general press -- and that consists of books, DVDs, tickets to films and performances of opera and musical theater, as well as other items. Ellen interviews regularly and has had decades of experience and a full career in broadcasting.

Thanks for your inquiry.

Sincerely,

Audio Al

There's something pretty weird about this Audio_Al.I did a little research and you should look at

these threads:

they are the same person.Just saying.

Some came from two of our last shows in which we explored these works in more depth "ad lib".

You are invited to hear us on the Internet. Instructions are on my wife's journal.
