I plan on making some tea and doing a fair share of reading. And someone told me that yesterday was national pasta day, so although one day late, I'm going to make a pasta dish. Ohhhhhh . . . big plans on the horizon. :rofl:

We had our pasta a day early. I never can get these national days right. :rofl:

Our wood stove for the basement is coming today. That's a big deal since we've been waiting so long for it ... finally got a new supplier, ordered yesterday, and it's being installed today. Why did we deal with that other asshole all these months? :shrug:

I hope you have a wonderful day! I might get myself busy in a bit. My grandson is coming for the weekend and I need to get his room ready.

Oh yes, it was well planned. So well planned I left work 1-1/2 hours early yesterday so when I called in this morning, I'd be even more convincing!

Going to a double birthday party tomorrow. Can't wait. It'll be loads of fun. Think I'll make spicy chicken wings to take along.

It looks real easy. Suspect it's more than four servings though.

Honey Chicken Wings

Ingredients
1 cup salsa or picante sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 1/2 pounds chicken wing pieces
Preparation
Stir together first 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Add wing pieces, tossing to coat. Place on an aluminum foil-lined 15- x 10-inch jellyroll pan.

Bake at 400° for 55 minutes or until chicken is done, turning once.

Yield

4 appetizer servings
