I have never, ever thought that humanity is decent... When I was about 7 and observation of my own family was something I could not escape, I saw in that microcosm that people will lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. If I was in the way, I would be stepped on, crushed or maybe.... if lucky, simply pushed aside. I am not talking about people my own age, I was the youngest child among all the cousins - the closest person in age was my sister who was 10 years older than me. I am talking about my parents and their family and friends- Put on a happy face and stab each other in the back. Don't say anything about Uncle Creepy Hands who was the family child molester. Grandpa was a mean SOB but everyone just STFU and let him make everyone miserable. Why didn't anyone tell that nasty old fart to knock of the shit and get real or stay home where he could rot?

People are no damned good for the most part.

I enjoy my friends and family (I have no one left who is alive or who I speak to from the people above) I care deeply for what happens to our planet and I enjoy the people who share their thoughts and humor here. But humanity being decent? Hell no.
