9. I'm spending the weekend at my son's house and baking pecan pies.
My daughter-in-laws parents are visiting from Vietnam and they have never tasted them. I took them some pecans that I had picked up last weekend from the big tree in my yard and they have fallen in love with pecans.

They want to take some back with them when they go home, but I don't know if they will be able to get them through customs. Does anyone know about this? Maybe if they are already shelled?

My kids are going to some sort of Halloween festival with my parents, after dinner.

12. Dinner out, college football, movie Saturday night, yard work
Dinner tonight at our favorite restaurant (Italian), college football game to watch Saturday at noon then some more at 3:30 (laundry and some housecleaning, too), then go see Michael Clayton Saturday night, maybe brunch on Sunday, a little more football, a little more cleaning, and some shopping. Also, beat our three vicious dogs as we always do. And the three cats, too, of course.

A friend's husband plays guitar in a counttry-type band and she asked me to go. It's a no-smoking venue, so that's good.

tomorrow, tai chi and mah johng, then maybe a play with the kid, an Abridged Shakespeare type thing.

18. friday wine, Saturday concert, Sunday maybe Bladerunner
Tonight after newshour I'm gonna work on my itunes, then tomorrow night we're going to see She Wants Revenge (not my absolute favorites but it's a concert so hey..), then Sunday I hope to go see Bladerunner playing at a imax theater here that I've never gone to before :headbang:

And maybe in between I'll fight on the internet a little x( not at DU though!

Many beverages on Bourbon Street. Tomorrow - haircut, followed by Impeach Bush march in the French Quarter, then Rox-Sox. Sunday - Pats-Skins followed by more Rox-Sox, and maybe crazy celebration of another World Series win. Gonna be a good weekend!

putting plastic up over 16 windows, laundry and other cleaning. I also hope to get started on a quilt I've been wanting to make. All plaid flannels. :)

I'm not going this time. I live a few miles from the capital so I go to most protests but this time I'm not :( I can't drive so getting myself into/out of the city always takes a few hours, and we have a concert to go to tonight.

I hope lots of people will go though, it's the most important thing happening.
