I just put the first person on my 'ignore' list.
After I had to strongly resist the urge to put my computer chair through my monitor over something they wrote.

I had always told myself that I wouldn't ever need 'ignore' because I don't let people on the internet bother me that much. So much for that.

Actually, I don't think I have ever run into them anywhere but on this particular thread. It was my fault. It was one of those things I jumped into kidding around, but then I started getting...ummm...hounded and I couldn't let it go. But after awhile, all I wanted to do was to KILL the other person.

I decided that was bad for my karma. So I stuck them on ignore.

I know how that gets... I have put people on there for the same reason but I always take them off again.

I actually had 17 people on my list at one point. I eventually removed all but two because I couldn't remember why they pissed me off.

16. I only have 2, which is 2 more than I ever expected to have.
I don't mind being disagreed with; I often learn something that way, and don't mind people who sometimes post ridiculous BS; no big deal there either. But had 2 people that were incredibly rude and insulting without knowing anything about me, and who the hell needs to read ignorant insults from anyone, much less fellow members of DU. It still bothers me that I realized I needed to put anyone on ignore though; we're supposed to be allies in the already uphill battle to save our beloved country from devouring itself.

One person told me they would put me on ignore, even though my post was really harmless and factual and had to do with the topic of overweight and obesity.

Maybe the day will come when I'll feel the need to put someone on ignore, but so far that day hasn't arrived. I get mad all the time about posts, but my curiosity to read other opinons has so far overcome my inability to read them at all.

it's not just posting in pic threads, she's always posting pics going WHAT DO YOU THINK? Well, I think she is so vain I want to staple-gun her forehead. :o

Now the Airman Skittles pic - well, that's just a classic. LOL people always comment on my expression: truth is I was just pissed at the sergeant who was following me around with a camera. :D
