This has been a very difficult week. Thanks Lounge for everything!

The smoke is really bad today, but the fire is becoming more and more under control. The fire is probably about 15 miles from our house now (versus about a mile away on Sunday night).

The Santa Ana Winds are gone, for now. Thank goodness.

10. There was a
forest fire about 50 miles from our place in northern Michigan this summer. The smell was so bad we left and went downstate. If the fires were only 15 miles away, I can't imagine how bad the air must have been for you. Glad to hear things are getting under control and better for you.
