Poll question: Simpsons baseball poll
This is the lineup of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant softball team (in the infamous "Homer At The Bat" episode) and the fates that they all endured:

Steve Sax (2B) - Serving six consecutive life sentences

Wade Boggs (3B) - Knocked unconscious in a bar fight

Darryl Strawberry (RF) - Pulled out of the game for a pinch hitter

Jose Canseco (LF) - Rescues people from burning buildings

Don Mattingly (1B) - Kicked off team for having long sideburns

Ken Griffey Jr (CF) - Suffered gigantism as a result of drinking too much nerve tonic

Mike Sciosia (C) - Acute radiation poisoning

Ozzie Smith (SS) - Fell down the Springfield Mystery Spot (Where logic takes a holiday and the laws of nature are meaningless)

Roger Clemens (P) - Hypnotized into thinking that he's a chicken
