1. Championship of long life
given to all those who get out and hike, ski, or exercise instead of being couch potatoes!

4. Couple good ones there
How can one have an original six only SC though? 2 teams from the original 6 you mean?

Detroit vs. Toronto, Montreal or Boston would be great.

Boo to the Rangers.

As a Bills Hater from upstate though I'd like to see them stay 0 and 4.

7. Could be either...
Detroit or Chicago vs. Toronto/Montreal/Boston/NY Rangers.

It would be cool to see an old time hockey matchup again. I think the last one was in 1979 (NYR vs Montreal).

11. Congrats to your Patriots maveric
I was rooting for Carolina, but it was a great game. I'm looking forward to seeing these two meet again next year, I think there is a good possibility of that.

28. The Pats were lucky to come off with a win tonight.
If the Panthers had 45 seconds more Delhomme would have picked apart the tired and injured NE secondary as they did the whole second half possibly forcing OT. If Carolina won the toss I feel that they would have move the chains into FG range and won the game. Harrison was out and Law was tired and getting burned.
The Pats had a couple of questionable calls go thier way also. They were very lucky tonight.
Your Panthers were the surprise of the NFL season. They have nothing to be ashamed of.

30. Dont write the Sox off yet. Williams, Lucchino and Epstein seem to
be trying to buy a championship this year. A lot of $$$$ is being thrown around and they may surprise us all.

how about the fact that the SB sucked tonight for three straight quarters? I was gonna call it "The Boring Bowl" if no one was gonna score.

15. A NCAA div.Ia national championship game at the end of a playoff
system to determine who's the official national champ. It's a good thing the NCAA isn't NASA or we wouldn't have reached space yet.

17. Good one!
Wish I put that in the poll.

So no one here seems to care for a Giants - Jets SB? I think with the current teams they have it would be a comical game, but I think this will happen someday, and hopefully it'll be a good one (Mets - Yanks WS a couple yrs ago was a huge disappointment)

It's about a jets/giants SB. I'd definetly watch a Red Sox/Cubs WS though.

34. For years I wondered if...
I'd see the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. Now I've seen it twice, so I want to see them WIN one.

Then there's the all Chicago World Series. 2006 would be an ideal year for one, since that would be the 100th anniversary of the only other one.

As well as - the Cleveland Browns winning a Super Bowl (or at least making it to one), the Red Sox winning the World Series...

As for the Chicago Blackhawks, as long as the current ownership is in place, may they rot in hell. (Gene Honda forgive me for saying that.)

40. A Miami team winning it all in basketball
Between the Canes and Dolphins we have 7 football championships. Plus two Marlins rings and several College World Series titles for the Canes.

At least the hockey Panthers made it to the Cup finals several years ago, before being whiffed by Colorado.

But in hoops we royally South Beach suck, nothing notable except low-scoring losing brawls with the Knicks and a few brief NCAA tournament appearances. Of course, at one point I never thought the Canes football team would manage anything beyond an occasional minor bowl...
