I'm being mean and laughing at my poor doggie.
All the animals have free access to dry cat food. I gave up trying to feed the dogs dog food years ago because they preferred the cat food. The dogs get table scraps. One old cat gets fed wet cat food and another cat with a broken tooth helps herself to wet cat food from time to time. Guinness knows that the good stuff, the wet cat food, comes in those little cans. He's been carrying one around for the past two days trying to figure out how to open it. I laugh because he has no opposable thumb!

4. But don't you think this is a good stimulation for him intellectually?
Sapa the cat disapproves of this thread. He is standing in front of the monitor.

11. I'm OK as long as he can't figure out how to turn the door knobs.
Smokey Joe the cat could open doors, but he never wanted to chase the UPS man.

5. LOL
That is too funny hedgehog!

I can picture the dog, but I know he wouldn't try and usurp the wet food from the cat at feeding time...

6. I have to feed Sapa up on the kitchen counter to keep Guinness and
Jack from stealing his food! Sapa is quite used to this and makes his wishes known when he wants fed. Some days he eats more and sometime less.

12. We laugh at our cat for not having opposable thumbs.
He bitches cries incessantly when he is hungry. Sometimes he's so bad we just put the can of food down in front of him unopened. He pushes it around the kitchen with his nose and then looks up at up as if to say, "Bastards! You know I don't have the thumbs to open this!" It's mean, but the expression is priceless.
