like that? You know, rich, famous, charmed life, the whole bit. (in my case, Cindy Crawford would be a good example.)

Then again, when I really look back at my own life, I realize there are good reasons why I turned out just as I did, and that I should feel grateful that I am where I am.

6. Can't think of many celebrities my age from my area...
The band Good Charlotte started up in Waldorf, Maryland, which was one county over. The lead singer dated Hilary Duff for a while, who became hated because she referred to Waldorf as a "ghetto" (Waldorf is a suburban, predominatly middle class town, so Duff came off rather airheaded).

I went to college with the girl who married the lead singer of Creed (Woo-Hoo! :eyes:). Apparently, the singer got drunk on the honeymoon flight and spent the first weekend of married life in jail. And then he got arrested again for throwing things at her. She was Miss New York or something like that. But I really didn't know her.

Then I went to law school and did some studying with the girl who married Florida Marlins pitcher Dontrelle Willis. He too got drunk the weekend they got married and got a DUI. Hmm, I sense a pattern here.

But that's about it. I can't say I envy any of them. Now, if somebody I knew growing up becomes President, that might be a different story.

8. I don't know anyone who ever grew up to be president.
I don't even think I'd want to have a beer with any of 'em, either. :D

9. Sometimes
I grew up in the same town as Kevin Smith, and while I do think he's only moderately talented, I definitely have to give him props for taking a huge risk in trying to fulfill his dream. So more than anything seeing his experience was inspiring.
