The writers are picketing down the street
from my apartment. I'm pondering ways that I can show support.

I'm thinking bottled water and maybe some cookies? Or donuts and coffee?

Or maybe even grabbing a picket sign and joining them...though I don't know if they allow non-members to picket. :shrug:

Anyone have any great ideas?

1. you're gonna throw bottles of water at them from your apartment window?
you sicko! it's probably better than dumping scalding hot coffee on them, however.

I'm gonna walk it down to them. Well, not today, because I'm already at work. And I don't have any water, cookies, donuts, or coffee.

But I'm guessing they're gonna be there a while, so I've got some time... ;)

3. I'm sure that coffee and donuts would be appreciated!!
My best friend is a writer on The Tonight Show and is a strike captain. He is out on a picket line today somewhere.

I'm guessing he's at NBC Burbank. ;)

I live very close to one of CBS' studios, and they were lining up at 8:30 this morning.
