Just venting
I'm tired, I'm overworked, I've got an author team whose motivations I don't understand, I have too much work on my desk and I don't know where to start. There's an awful oil spill in our beautiful Bay. I wore a too-warm sweater to work today. My period just won't end this month! Ron Paul signs are everywhere in my town and more than I expected in San Francisco proper. And one of my acquiisitions editors isn't moving forward on a book we are running late on!

the day is almost over and the weekend is here. Draw you some nice warm bath water, listen to some soothing music, and rise above it.

And it will be a great weekend - I just need to get through the day. And to be honest, I really do love my job; it's just been a busy and burdensome few weeks lately.
