so I started my weekend cooking

but made the mistake of having a couple of eggnogs.

I think I'm done cooking for the night.

I promised my mother fudge tomorrow morning, so she could bring it to her church fair to sell, and I didn't even make one batch.

I have a feeling I'll be up early tomorrow.

2. the biggest problem was that when I tried to eat dinner,

I got all of 3 bites down before I was full. So when I started drinking, it was on an empty tummy.

I did get 8 mini-meatloaves made, and a batch of meatballs that are now in the freezer for the spaghetti sauce I'll make on Sunday.

I still have 2 batches of fudge to make for the fair.

and then for the rest of the weekend: chicken pot pie, pot roast, boiled dinner, breaded eggplant (to freeze) and spaghetti sauce.

my house is going to smell amazing this weekend.

And I won't have to cook again for a month.

11. I could do that...

I bought a half-gallon of eggnog for my little girl today, so I could easily pour myself a glass and spike it with some brandy or some Captain Morgan.

Doesn't sound too bad, as a matter of fact. Mr. LIW is at his bandmate's recording studio until at least 10pm, so I've got some time to fill. ;)
