5. Winning isn't everything...but losing SUCKS
And in the immortal words of my daddy, "Win if you can, lose if you must, but ALWAYS cheat."

6. So If Your Opponent Is Cheating...
and you know for a fact that he's cheating... it's okay to cheat because you're leveling the playing field (even if you're stooping to their level) right?

-- Allen

(Not a trick question.)

7. It's just a joke Allen...
I played a lot of sports as a child and if my dad had actually caught me cheating he wouldn't have beaten me but I would have wished he had rather than see the disappointed look in his eyes.

Never stoop to their level. Always play your hardest within the rules. The only appropriate response to cheating is to inform the officials of the situation. If they do nothing then you do your best and if you still lose at least you have the satisfaction of knowing that your opponent doesn't really get to enjoy a victory they didn't earn.

8. But I Wasn't Kidding :-)

I'd cheat-back. Does that make me a bad person? If I'm willing to cheat-back, does that mean I must have also been willing to be the first to cheat? I don't know.

Winning isn't everything... it's the ONLY thing!

P.S. I guess I'm still sore over the 2000 election. Even though the Republicans didn't "earn" the White House, they certainly do seem to be enjoying it anyway. I guess it's different with politics.

"How many people watch you give a final exam? ("About fifty" is the reply.)
Well, I have 50,000 watch me give mine - every Saturday!"
To English Professor Tommy Mayo (at Texas A&M) when questioned about his emphasis on winning and his salary.
