Poll question: Coke or Pepsi?
I've actually heard the theory that Republicans tend to be Coke drinkers while Liberals lean towards Pepsi. I myself am mostly a Coke guy, but I thought I'd try and see if I'm a minority on DU.

1. I can't honestly answer because I like both, but in different ways.
I like Pepsi better cold but without ice, while I prefer Coke cold and on ice. I don't know why. I like them equally for the most part.

2. I like Coke, and I like Diet Pepsi.
However, regular Pepsi sucks, and Diet Coke sucks worse.

4. Coke - but it really needs to be made from actual sugar
I can handle a blend of high-fructose corn syrup and sucrose, but using only HFCS isn't gonna do it for me. Fortunately, here in Texas, it's relatively easy to find Coke that's bottled in Mexico, where most of the plants use sucrose and nothing but.

11. No fair!
I love Coke as it is, but I bet that's amazing.

The Fanta in Europe is so tasty, in the many, many varities of flavors they offer. But, of course, they don't use HFCS as they do here, and, surprise surprise, U.S. Fanta is fucking terrible. x(

17. true true true -- Fanta elderflower is fabulous
We get some once a year or so when someone travels to Eastern Europe. I saw some offered on amazon.com through an importer called Parthenon Foods. $3.99 per liter plus postage.

8. No RC drinkers?
In used to buy pizza at a place that gave away a free liter of Royal Crown cola with every pie. RC was great for washing down the pizza.

12. I just had a can of RC this afternoon
Good stuff. I've also enjoyed King Cola, AfriKola, Jolt Cola, a few "store brand" colas including Big K and Sam's Choice, and Texas Cola. I've tried Double Cola, but the can I bought must have been out of date, because I couldn't get any taste out of it.

14. I love Dr. Pepper, but technically, it's not really a cola
Dr. Pepper has it's own thing going on, although it's inspired a few store-brand competitiors of its own.

15. Coke
They both taste pretty much the same, but if you nurse a can along for a long time - the way I do - the Pepsi loses its fizz faster.

16. Coca-Cola
Since they went to high fructose corn syrup though, it's not as good. Still better than the others but the real sugar Coke is the best.

20. Diet Berries and Cream Dr. Pepper.
Best shit ever invented.

Now, if they sold proper Irn Bru here in the states, I'd be drinking that. I loved it when I was over in the UK.

21. Pepsi
Coke gives me heartburn.

Of course, I rarely drink regular Coke or Pepsi. I guzzle Diet Pepsi by the liter, though...
