...on Led Zeppelin's first-ever American tour in late December of 1968. At a truck-stop somewhere outside of Denver. It wasn't the groupies, mind you-- that would come later. The then-unknown, soon-to-be-famous drummer was just trying to keep warm at the time, so he slathered the mayo on, and for the next week the rest of the band forced him to sleep in the tour bus.
