Who else thinks?

Couldn't think again for a week until it healed.

It was driving me crazy...

I get a weird burning smell....

Are we allowed to think? Isn't that against the rules?

You know...you wake up to take a pee.
(Wait till you hit your 60s, you'll understand.)
You try to do it on autopilot and not wake ALL the way up.
But by the time you get back in the rack you're awake.
And then you start to think.

Stream of consciousness and one thing leads to another.
"I really need to call the well pump guys and get that thing fixed.
I wish my grandson wasn't so skinny. WHY won't he EAT?
I have GOT to get started on the garage. It's a goddam pig sty.
Is tomorrow garbage day?
Recycle?
No, that's Friday."

It's weird that you never know when you go to sleep.
It just creeps up on you.
You know when you wake up.
Yawn...stretch..."OK, I guess I'm up for the day. Mmmm...COFFEE."
