All right, all right, here we go. I'm getting married a week from Saturday. Ask me anything!
P.S. I'll be away from DU from more or less next Monday through Dec. 10, as my new wife and I hit Europe on our honeymoon.

5. We're flying into Prague on Nov. 26....
then heading to Vienna on Dec. 1, then into Budapest on Dec. 5, then back to our home territory, the great, deeply weird, state of Florida on Dec. 8.

Should be a blast 'n' a half.

Will post more tomorrow about it if you like (and if you've been to any of those places, drop suggestions!) Lots of wine. Must go to bed for now.

10. I once made a 1 day bus trip from Austria(Innsbruck) to Venice in Dec.

That was the closest to all this locations I ever came.

15. Hmmm... oddly, I can't think of any that are on the band's list...
but we've accomplished the cheese factor with the music in other ways -- we plan to do our first dance to "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel, after all.

26. well, I think it's great!
too many people here have tried to convince us that marriage is outdated, archaic, unnecessary, yadda yadda.... They say that marriages don't last anyway.

Most people I know can say they know at least one couple that has been married for more than 30 years or longer.

The survey I took here yestersay (admittedly, not scientific, but...) showed that fewer than 5 people know unmarried couples that have been together that long.

Marriage really is a much more serious commitment, and when you can make that commitment, I think it's beautiful.
