GREENSBORO -- A Dudley High School teacher has resigned amid allegations that he attacked a student Tuesday afternoon.
The fight, which reportedly happened inside a classroom in front of more than a dozen students, involved first-year teacher Robert Bullard.
“When I came back from my locker he pulled everybody into class and he slammed the door in my face,” said Tyrick Glover, the student who says he was attacked. “So then I opened the door and asked him why did he slam the door in my face; and he never answered. He just started hitting me, so then I started hitting him back, and my friends pulled us apart.”
“This type of incident is not tolerated by Guildford County Schools. A report will be provided to the State Superintendent for North Carolina Public Schools for further review and investigation,” Guilford County Schools said.
