Foods that should be worshipped in any civilized society?
Calamari.

Tropical-style yellow rice. (Tropical-style = pineapple, coconut, etc... mixed in.)

Shredded beef with BBQ sauce.

Ben and Jerry's double chocolate brownie ice-cream.

Fried rice.

Tuna or beef steak, rare to medium-rare.

A really good cut of beef prime rib.

Most anything with Cajun spicing or good BBQ sauce, really.

(These last two are a bitch and a half, because I'm doing my best to give up pork products.)

Jambalaya.

The Cuban sandwich.
