So you think Bush would be good to have at a BBQ? Well...
People have been saying this - "He may be stupid but he'd be nice to have at a BBQ." Not here - we're smarter than that. But elsewhere. Let me explain something to you. Bush is a born-again Fundie. That would mean that at least 33% of all conversations would be about Jesus, or Praise the Lord, or what not. Call me crazy, but I'd leave the BBQ on those grounds alone.

Then keep in mind that he's supposed to be sober, so there would be no BEER at said BBQ. No beer? No Taverner. Sorry, but we all need a code to live by.

And let's just say that you sneak in some booze - he'll get a hold of it and go on a bender. Ever been around a Jesus freak on a bender? It's not pretty - let me tell you.

And although it would be nice to see the twins in matching daisy dukes, chances are he'd bring that hag of a mom along too, and that would just be buzzkill.

So would Bush still be good to have at a BBQ?

8. Now I've heard of that church out near Houston that serves ribs every Sunday
as long as you listen to a sermon. And I heard they're damn good ribs. Bordering on the sublime. Oralgasm material here.

But if you have to listen to mumbo jumbo, I'm sorry - I just can't.

7. Bush is a FINO.
Fundy In Name Only. Slap him if he mentions religion. He's only doing it in mockery.

13. The only bush I want at a BBQ are the beans.
And I never did buy into that born-again crap. All a facade for the conservative fundies.

14. You know, he'd be good for a laugh at first
but eventually he'd be an embarrassment and everybody would be uncomfortable. I'd rather BBQ w/out him.
