My kitteh gotz a name.

She's completely full of hell. I brought her home on Sunday night and the big katz are still a bit afraid of her.

Great name. My two rescue cats ended up being named "Chairman Meow" because he always seemed to want to talk loudly. The other guy is named "Flea Taxi".

I am trying to type around her as she crawls across my keyboard, purring like a chainsaw. She's absurdly cute.

I sure wish that Pip and Pixie could get together for some play dates. Pip has worn out the neighbor's two kittens on several occasions. They could be little hellions together!

Pip looks like a little hellion, too. I love his ears.

Pixie is a Nebraska farm cat of partly unknown ancestry. The people who gave her to me said her mother, who looks a lot like her, probably had both Persian and Siamese ancestors (as well as the usual striped tabbies) because they had a smoke Persian some years ago who got around quite a bit, and there was also a Siamese tom at a nearby farm. The vet listed Pixie as a Siamese cross, but there's a fair amount of something else there, too, because she's quite fluffy and has Siamese points only on her ears. Her tail is dark but has stripes, and her paws are cream like the rest of her. Farm cats being promiscuous beasts, we have no idea who her father is. Probably a cousin.

I've got a Pip Cat, too!

Mine is named Pippen, or Peregrine, or Pippers...he came pre-named (by the little girl in the photos) and I tried to change it, but he wanted to stick with the name he was first given. Funny thing is that my dad had a cat named Pippen too, and another DUer has a "Pips", so it's a fairly popular name for our feline friends!

Our girl was originally named Dippy. When we took custody, we decided to give her a name with a bit more dignity. Since The Lord of the Rings movies were out at the time, Pippin Kitten, aka Pippy, seemed like a good choice.

Like Pippin Took, she's too mischievous for her own good, but has a heart of gold!

"she" was the runt of the litter, and she was the cutest, tiniest little thing.

Turns out "she" was a he, but we didn't know that until he was older and larger and we took him into the vet to get fixed.

He was a Maine Coon, and he turned into the largest most wonderful cat you've ever seen. :loveya:
