For the last time people: decide what your kid wants BEFORE you get in the coffee line!
As I type this, the cute little family of three is STILL standing at the register, asking their ever-so-adorable little rugrat "would you like this?" while she says either "NO" or "what's that?".

Sigh. Once we get done banning cigarettes, can we go to work on kids? Or at least stupid parents?

When my son was small I tried very hard to minimize the inconvenience to others - and realize that everyone else wasn't as thrilled by him as I was.... but there is something in the process that makes you feel that your child is the most amazing think on earth!

If we banned kids though, there wouldn't be any more new people.

2. Sometimes it's cute, but not when you need some caffeine
A friend of mine owns a candy store and says that the parents who bring in a kid to let them choose their own treat without guidance. There's at least 200 types of candy on display and the kid is expected to choose ONE? That's cruel and unusual punishment for some of them.
