I am OFFICIALLY sick of the Osmonds! (again)
every time I turn on the TV there they are.. Even Larry King is taking about them now on CBS this Morning. Ent. Tonight is all Osmonds all the time. every other E TV show is all Osmonds all the time.

I really like them much better when they were toiling in obscurity.

5. I remember then....

But now it is like TOTAL media saturation with the patriarch dying, Dancing With The Stars, the breakdown, Marie's kid in rehab etc. And Donny still wears tight ass shirts like it is 1975!

10. And Donny still weirdly looks like he did in 1975.
I wonder if there is a painting in HIS attic.

11. How so?
Sorry to seem obtuse. When I think of Romney, I think of stuff like his reprehensible strapping of the family's Irish setter in a pet taxi to the top of his car. Is there an Osmonds angle to that story that I'm missing? How could he be responsible for the recent Osmond-esque news glut?

it's hard to imagine he's not in on it.

Also, both he and the Osmonds creep me the hell out.

14. Uh, lounge. Hence joking.
Really though, it's the creepy veneer of over-perfection that creeps me out. Mormon culture encourages that. Hence the element of truth that makes the joke funny.

15. I'm really sorry.
I guess I take religious freedom too seriously. There are LDS progressives; this I know for a fact. Every practice, religious or otherwise, on the face of the earth has its gradients of light and dark. I guess I'm just cautious of painting with a broad brush. My apologies if I've offended you.

20. Another week, Marie stays on "Dancing"
I swear, they must get every Mormon in Utah to vote for her. IMO, she should have been gone weeks ago. Now ET is all over it....again.
