I don't know the context; I found it on an image search looking for something totally unrelated to that picture, and I cringed.

That's gonna be tough to clean. Hopefully it's water based, and not latex.

2. Parents....

Please do not leave open paint cans anywhere near where your kids can reach them. Especially if they are this young.

Sigh.

Edited to clarify.

4. When I was a kid, we moved to Long Island ...
It was a new subdivision, and most of us kids were around the same age (six, seven, eight).

The neighbors down the street had gone shopping for the afternoon, and their daughters (Marian and Suzie) convinced all of us kids to 'surpise' their mom and dad by 'painting' their new brick house white.

There was no actual paint available, nor brushes. So we mixed the bags of white lime fertilizer they'd bought for the lawn with some water, and used mops and brooms to paint with.

Mom and dad were surprised all right - but NOT happy. Marian and Suzie got grounded. That was in 1956 - and I never saw either of them again.

Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 01:07 AM by Godhumor
Got into my model paints and used the red color as nail polish and lipstick. I was too young to be wrroied about putting model pain on their lips, but damn was I angry at that.

Maybe the parents left the paint can out on purpose in hopes of winning a large prize on America's Funniest Home Videos.

12. It seems to have started as a simple, passing comment on a TV program...
or image, for which the one kid seems rather pleased to have initiated...I remain, however, unconvinced the little guy will know much-if-any success in his application for divestment by merely standing less-near the aftermath :(

Bet they had wicked fun doing that... gonna be a real pain to clean up, though. :) Had a friend whose kid decorated her bathroom with mascara... luckily, that was easier-than-expected to clean up. Whee, kids!

23. Here's what scares me:
How long do you suppose it took these imps to do this? Half an hour? Which means that they were UNSUPERVISED for at least that long. Where the hell was a parent in that time? This is how REAL tragedies happen.

Haha, but let's take a pic documenting our neglect. :puke:

Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 11:45 AM by momophile
could do this in about 3 minutes. that's why I watch them like a hawk, and I don't have cans of paint sitting around.

oh, and of course, it would all be her boy cousin's fault.

29. Half and hour? They don't look like slackers. I give it 1.4 minutes.
And part of the delay in that one is only because it looks like the one kid wasted time taking his pants off.

30. Curiously they left behind a lot of evidence.
There is a spoon which I assume they used to pry the top off the paint canister. Well, there is that and the foot prints... and the picture of them with paint all over them, standing in paint with a empty can of paint in the picture which also happens to be the same color as the paint which is all over them and which they are standing in. Also, why did they only paint themselves up to mid-torso? And notice that the toys are virtually unscathed.
