a lotta stuff about the reportage, like how Merriman Smith of UPI broke the first bulletin because he was in the press car that had a phone.

Also, www.reelradio.org has like a 90-minute file of the live broadcast on KLIF in Dallas, from before the shooting through the death pronouncement. (If you've ever heard the audio of the guy saying, emotionally and out of breath, "The president... of the United States... is dead," that's from KLIF.)

You gotta donate to listen, but they have scads of old radio files that you won't find anywhere else.
