New update on my dad (GreenLantern for DU oldsters)
They looked into his heart today and found one full blockage and several partial blockages. They put in three stents, but left some smaller blockages behind for now. His overall prognosis is good but right now he is having a very hard time breathing because he needs to lie on his back to heal, and he breathes better sitting up.

They might discharge him tomorrow but I am hoping they won't because he doesn't sound perky enough to me.

3. It's enough good news for a start.
I hope there's a lot more good news. Hopefully he'll have a good, thorough recovery.

5. Good that they were able to alleviate at least part of the problem.

I hope that his recovery goes well. I would imagine he'll have follow-up on ways to reduce further blockages (diet, exercise, and maybe pharma.)
