He got a bum rap because the stock market crash occurred on his watch; but it isn't like he didn't care or didn't try to do something about it.

I cringe to think what would have happened had Dumbyass had his reign during those times.

7. I was gonna post the same.
What he did in Belgium after WWI was phenomenal. Also worked hard for the people of Louisiana after the flood of '27. Not really cut out for the presidency, and was overwhelmed with events of 1929.

Does that mean it's really good or really bad?

I have the same linguistic problem with turning my air-conditioner up or down.
