Is The Word 'Dutch' Offensive?
Especially, "Dutch Uncle".

I've got a Dutch uncle. He lives just outside of Utrecht, The Netherlands, and he's a really nice guy.

I think that this denigration of Dutch uncles should come to a complete end... It's so unfair

Anybody who ever thought that the Dutch just laid down and let the Nazis walk in should reread the Diary of Anne Frank and check out a movie called Soldier Of Orange, starring Rutger Hauer.

And a Dutch treat? No treat at all! Hve you seen that movie, Dutch, with Ed O'Neill? No (amster)damn good! They saw doors in half, kill elm trees, get all their 'courage' from drinking alcohol, plant tulips everywhere and engage in drainage schemes that border on the ingenious. And dutch cheeses? Don't edam, they're no gouda.

My husband has an uncle living in Zeist and his best friend lives in Waddinxveen.

21. They live in Soest, just around the corner from the Queen's Palace
BTW, I think Zeist is the nicest town I've ever seen. If I were to live anywhere in Holland, I'd chose to live there
