who here drinks ( or smokes) to "prepare" for family get-togethers?

I dont, normally, but this year is the first at the family of a new gf's family lunch and dinner with my peeps and I really wish I had a drink on tap.

but this year at xmas, I will definately be doing both to "prepare" for a week with my fundy MIL.

Being around too many people makes me anxious even if I love and get along with all of them.

I just can't do it.. clusterfuck^2 would best describe these holiday events. I'm working at the homeless shelter on Thursday. Being around my family will kill me.
