G'nite, people. The smoke has finally cleared and I am exhausted so

I am headed to bed. (Everything is fine. I just made an apple crisp and forgot to put something under it. The goop overflowed onto the bottom of the oven and caught on fire, but mostly just smoked us out of the house. LOL)

be getting new detectors and batteries for sure!

I never knew there was a difference in detection capabilities until I saw this a few weeks ago. They say it's best to have both types.

4. You HAVE to have a small 'disaster' every year at Thanksgiving...

It's traditional.
Something small...like dropping a pie on the floor, or the sink clogging up, or like OP's Cajun-style apple crisp.

If you don't, all the disasters will gang up and you'll end up with a BIG one some fine year...:crazy:
