LBN: Dennis Kucinich Multiplies Loaves, Fishes
Honestly, is there anything that this courageous giant among men can't accomplish?

1. Unfortunately, almost anything worth accomplishing.
If only we had a hundred of him in Congress--then he'd get some play, and his courage wouldn't be ridiculed as something freakish.

23. It's not that his courage is freakish
It's that his courage appears to be bolstered by the fact that he knows that he has nothing at stake. Only if he stood any actual chance of winning the nomination could we assess the courage of the views he now espouses.

26. We can still judge him against his colleagues in the House...
...or Senate, or against the other presidential candidates. I think it would be a mistake to believe that Kucinich sees no chance of winning the nomination (or a VP slot). He may be betting that the horrifically unpopular war will grow even more unpopular, so much so that ordinary Americans will actually feel like doing something about it.

27. Statistically, his chances of winning the nomination are on par with mine
There is IMO too great a tendency to dismiss criticism of Kucinich as being a bandwagon response to the MSM's treatment of him, when people can readily assess him (and his likelihood of electoral success) based on his own strengths and weaknesses.

29. If America stays fat and lazy, yes.
He has managed to drum up a lot of support this time around, despite the same efforts of the MSM to marginalize him.

Impeachment's going nowhere, though. It may be that nothing will change in the coming year.

14. If you're a vegan for moral reasons
how could you in good conscious celebrate the DEATHS of human beings in your avatar? Are their deaths of less value than that of the animals you try to protect?

That kind of twisted logic in on par with the anti abortionists believing it is justified to for abortion providers and clinic providers to be killed to save babies.

Man is an animal, too, and even if you don't approve of his behaviors, he should be afforded the same amount of compassion as other animals.

17. Well, I don't celebrate the Darwin Awards either,
In fact, the death of fellow human beings saddens me, no matter how they die or whether I think they deserved it or not.

You obviously think they do deserve it for the "crime" of eating meat. (And, you may recall, I don't eat meat either, but I guess I just haven't worked up to such a heightened level of righteous indignation.)

I'm sure you're winning lots of converts to the cause with your actions here.

18. Fish is meat. And that high horse surely gets tired to carrying you around.
Have a nice afternoon anyhow.

19. I'm glad you're keeping track of my eating habits
But I had fish a few times in more than five years of being a vegetarian and no longer eat it anyway and haven't for months.

That was one single post I mentioned it in months and months ago. Do you have a scorecard of who meets your level of purity?

And "high horse," indeed. I almost choked.

And you no more wish me a nice afternoon than I do you, so I won't engage in that hypocrisy.

20. High horse?
I HAVE to eat fish on the recommendation of my doctor for the extra essential fatty acids. You can't rebuild myelin without them.

I'd tell you to have a nice afternoon, but I really could care less if you do. Hateful people are tedious.

i was scrolling through the channels and Rush was praising DK after the last debate for his willingness to take a strong position, while the rest of the Dems were afraid to show a lot of leadership.

pyrokenesis, firing optic blasts, and levitation.
He can take on, and defeat, a 'Clear' Scientologist Overlord in single combat. The clash of their battle auras is said to drive an ordinary man insane.
