So the rush of the holiday is over.

All my family has gone home.

Thanks to some kind soul who donated in my name, I now have a star, and a silly icon that few people will get. :)

Thanks to the hard work of the many relatives who descended upon this house yesterday and today we managed to finish just about everything that needs to be done before my grandpa comes home from the rehab center on Tuesday.

On Thanksgiving day, not only did I get to spend time with family members who I hadn't seen in years, but also with people who are knowlegable and strange enough to get my obscure and strange jokes. :) Also, I saw snow for the first time in 10+ years.

This house is no longer a construction zone, but once again a house. There are a few little things to finish... a painting touch-up here and there, a towel rack that needs to be installed. But the lion's share is DONE.

For now, I get a chance to relax for a moment. Just breathe. Maybe play a video game or read a book. Just relax. There will be times of more work later. There will be times of more stress later. But there's no need to dwell on it when it hasn't even happened yet. Now is the time to just relax.
