tales of the toddler.

He Who Must Be Obeyed repeatedly rammed his tricycle-sized bus into his mother's legs tonight, so she put it outside the front door. Armageddon ensued.

Then a familiar theme song came on the TV. Armageddon was interrupted for a "yay, Thomas!" celebration and dance. Then the bus was remembered, and Armageddon resumed.

Yup, or so he thinks. I triggered Armageddon today when I put away the Veggie Booty because I wouldn't let him eat a whole bag in one sitting. The cat walked in, though, and he forgot about it.

Cats are good for that. Of course, Chris has long since put the fear of God into Mr. Kitty, who gives him a wide berth. The best distractor now is changing his diaper, because he's obsessed with seeing his own poop.
