What are yout favorite charities? (since this is the time of giving)
For the past few years my family has given to a charity in lieu of spending money on gifts. Various members of us have also volunteered with Habit For Humanity. Not that I am tooting our own horn, but I mention this to ask, what is your favorite charity?

As of today, I really like www.heifer.org they work to give animals and training to communities and villages in order to provide milk, eggs, and other needs to people in need. You can go online and actually buy a cow (or pig, sheep, llama, goat, duck, chicken, trees, honeybees and other stuff) for a village in need. They have a pretty good reputation.

What are your favorite charities?

1. i donate mostly through a fund at work
i don't always agree with their choices

but hey

and i donate to a church

and i've donated to Heifer

they are an Arkansas based charity that is very good

give a person an animal

and they will have food

not much money goes a long way in that organization

a good one i'd recommend it highly

10. St. Anthony's Foundation (San Fran.), St. Jude Hospitals, Shriners Hospitals
All of these seek to give, free of charge to recipients anything that they need and seek to give them assistance so that ultimately they will no longer need it and can live independently.

I give through paycheck deductions regularly and don't have to fundraise from me.

12. Ronald McDonald House (our local one specifically),
and Association for Bladder Exstrophy Children.

Both of which we've been helped and touched by these charities during our son's early days and it's a little something that I can do to return the favour.

Mark.
