Making grown up decisions
Sometimes it really sucks. :D

For example, today is my birthday. My dad gave me $60. We are really broke so I can either use it to catch up a bit, or spend it on something for myself.

I know I'll just use it to pay bills, but damn, sometimes I just wish I could be gloriously selfish.

Anyways, Happy Birthday to me. Another year on the merry-go-round.

1. Find something cheap that will make you happy, then spend the rest like a grown-up.
Happy birthday. :)

7. That's an idea
although my husband has said he would give me a pedicure, and that's free, so at least I get something. :D

2. It's my birthday too...
Happy Birthday to the both of us, yeah? Pay some bills, but for sure do something nice for yourself today. Or tomorrow. Or soon. And I hope that in the near future you won't have to worry about money so much. That's my birthday wish for you, Spacemom.

Love ya,

Westegg

8. Thank You
Happy Birthday wishes to you too!

It would be such a relief not to worry about money quite so much, but I do try to be thankful the many blessings I have in my life.

10. Thanks!
I'm still here, so that's a positive. I'm working on being a less stressed person. That's something to work on this year.

6. Being in debt is a form of slavery.
It took me some time to realize that for every dollar you owe, you have sold some of your life in order to pay for it.
