Is waterboarding torture
or justifiable when your 8 y/o daughter carves pokemon character names into an antique table?

1. My dear malta blue...
Normally, I would say no...

But I might be willing to agree, this one time....

Ouch!

Any way it can be restored?

4. pokemon is my nemesis, my sworn enemy...
and my kid just loves it. She is making me crazy between pokemon and world of warcraft, which she plays at her dad's house.

I am not quite sure what she used, since her response when I asked her about it was "I could have done it, but I am not sure" :wow:

Yeah, Little MB, I did it... No. Wait. It was Mr MB. No, no, no, it was THE DOG

Kids' excuses kill me sometimes...

5. The important question is... did she spell them right?
Because you don't want to punish her when she does something right. That might send a confusing message.

6. LOL
Are you referring to my child or my rat terrier?

I have no idea whether they are spelled right ot not. I can't bring myself to look at it that closely yet.

7. Here's another story:
When my son was little and in his stage of totally adoring mom and "helping" me in any way he could, I let him "help" me transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer. And also let him fold the dry laundry. (which had to fold all over again anyway)

One day he decided to be a BIG help and loaded the dryer with dirty clothes, and poured an entire bottle of Tide into the dryer, and ran it on the hottest setting. What an awful mess that was. And it totally ruined the dryer.
