when they are on tv -- I told him that "Road House" was one I always watch.

He couldn't believe it.

Why not? "Road House" is great entertainment...and Dalton has a lot to teach the rest of us about living in harmony with one's self.

I am a PROUD Road Houser!!

25. The two fights between Yu Shu Lien and Jen Yu
One in the beginning of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the other towards the end when Jen Yu faces off with Yu Shu Lien, with Yu using all sorts of different weapons.

I thought both actual fight scenes were much better in terms of "fight quality" than the more famous scene with Jen Yu and Li Mu Bai fighting on the bamboo trees.

51. I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark only once years ago. I sort of do think I remember that
scene being in that movie but it is way back buried amongst the dust bunnies of my brain so I can't be sure. I probably should watch all the famous movies I ever saw again just to get back up to speed on them.
Course I would probably have to do it all again in a year so what's the use?

Edited on Tue Nov-27-07 05:46 PM by petersond
but here are some that stick out to me...

Doc Ock vs. Spiderman in Spiderman II

Danny Glover vs. Predator in Predator II...I love the classic line "Okay, whose next?"

Neo vs Morpheus, in the training program in The Matrix, I still rewatch that scene quite a bit

Orcs vs. Gondor, LOTR:Return of the King

Superman vs. Evil Superman in Superman III(best part of the movie).

The Boondock Saints vs. Their daddy(before they knew they were related), which sparks another classic line from Mr. Willem Dafoe "There was a FIREFIGHT!!!!!!!"....:D

That was only one of several great fight scenes in that movie. Kill Bill: Part I had Beatrix Kiddo vs. O-Ren Ishii, Beatrix Kiddo vs. The Crazy 88, and Beatrix Kiddo vs. Vernita Green, all of which were both pretty damn good fight scenes. The fighting choreography in that movie was simply amazing!
