Heheheh....just picked up my last paycheck from the old job.

:P Today is payday, and they had a campus-wide meeting today as well. I got there just as the meeting was letting out, saw the HR director for my check, and saw a couple of other people I knew because they happened to walk by the HR office. I had to get back to my new job, so I said my short goodbyes and got out of there. :D

On the drive back to my new job, I thought about how much better things are now. I have a seven-minute commute one way (on a bad day, it's ten minutes), I can go home for lunch, and the atmosphere is so much better. Oh, and when I ask an employee to do something, they actually DO it within the time frame allotted. :bounce: :toast: (At my old job, I got :eyes: a lot from the staff.)

I feel like I've woken up from a bad dream and can now return to normal. :D :woohoo:
