Nice, but a little pricey ($25):

12. Yeah, I have those same marks on my shoulders....
...when I sleep on my side, the cat comes up and lies across my upper arm, ready to dig in if she wants my attention.

And we don't even wanna talk about the teeth marks!

She's a 10 year old Bombay who plays like a kitten--if your kitten has talons and pit-bull jaws!--and flays like a leopard. Good thing humans have 7 layers of skin!

14. Bombay cat
The patent leather kitty with copper penny eyes. Our Cleo looks just like that, her coat is amazingly shiny, full of little colored sparkles, but she's just a mutt, so far as I know.

15. Mine's a mix, too!
Her eyes are more yellow than copper(when she decides to open them) and she has some white on her chest. I got her from a shelter, so I don't know who messed up her pedigree (and since I, her minion, am a half-Celt, half-Semite, I must say I don't really care!). But she's soft as silk, and like all Bombays, is total lap fungus.

In the interest of full disclosure, this cat no longer lives with me. My mother died in January, at the age of 82, and I gave Miss Patty Cat to my dad to help him thru some of the grief. She immediately took over my dad's house and demanded affection and play from him. He's totally bonded to her now, and talks about her all the time. His friends even ask about her in the same breath as they ask about my sister and me!

So the next person who says cats are useless, pass my story on!

2. Why buy one when your cat already has the fancy kind that moves around and refills the food bowl on
its own, and even occasionally scratches the cat back, but not in the bad way?

What are those ones called... oh yeah. Owners. :)

7. Watch the video on the site
When they put a cat in front of the $25 wizz-bang scratcher, he curls up in it and chills out. He doesn't scratch!

10. My cats LOVE Natural Scratch. Honestly. They don't touch my furniture.
Here it is--and yes, it's pricey, too. But it lasts forever, and they really do use it.

11. We have a plain jane old
SuperScratcher and the cat loves it. Scratches and then curls up to sleep on it. No catnip needed. I think that video is a little disingenuous.
