SciFi Fans: Anyone else watching Tin Man? (Possible Spoilers)
I was a little skeptical about it at first, but it's great. These characters rock. Anyone else watching? What do you think?

3. Of course.
SciFi will play the hell out of it for the next month.
What disaster hit?

It looks interesting.

5. I loved it!
Sci-fi channel movies usually suck, but this was the coolest. I nodded off during the last 15 minutes and that pissed me off that I missed some of it.

6. Yeah! One of the better things SciFi has come up with...
although I'm a little wierded out that Zooey doesn't look that much like her sister, but sounds exactly like her. From the next room I thought for a second that Bones came on.

Other than that, and that's not a big thing, it's one hell of a reworking of Oz.

Great script, cast, and production. Tough to believe it's the same network that's insulting us with Flash Gordon.

7. We like science fiction and this concept was interesting. But the best thing for me was:

Neal McDonough, the Tin Man -- he's just SO good looking. Must be that I'm partial to blue-eyed blonds.

And I've always LOVED Alan Cumming in whatever he does.

But I'm not sure we'll watch tomorrow's episode. Husband Audio Al fell asleep through most of the first episode and he is just not that thrilled with the story.

16. UPDATE: We had a big storm in Portland today. Totally forgot to watch the second episode.
No worries. I'm sure it will come around again sometime...

Good night and good luck.

8. the first third was an UTTER Star Wars ripoff
the "evil witch" character was totally Darth Vader, with almost the same theme music and even the "you've just been promoted" line . . .

But I really liked it. The Dreyfuss "wizard" character was truly terrific I thought.

11. I thought the music was more Battlestar Galactica.

9. Did they capture the angst that is 'The Wizard of Oz'?
and can I play 'Dark Side Of The Moon' to it?

10. Some thoughts
1. Let me get this straight--monkeys flew out of her cleavage?

2. Was Flash Gordon's costume department having a yard sale?

3. So...sorceress mom knew older daughter with a penchant for evil was trying to kill the younger daughter and had enough power to bring someone back from the dead, but did nothing to neutralize said evil child. Huh?

4. If Glitch winds up being D.G.'s real father, I'm leaving.

14. Hope too.
my schedule does not allow for much past 10pm. I love alternative story lines.

Right now I am reading Son of a Witch.

It rocks.

15. Did anyone else flash on Snow White's dress when they
first saw the evil queen? Looked like a heavy metal (literally) version of Disney.

17. It's fair. I'd give it a C+
The hammy performance by the Sorceress is tough to get past.

Cumming and Dreyfuss were great. The DG character seems a bit wooden though.

18. I DVRed the first installment and watched it today...
Its...okay. Let's just say I wasn't thrilled with how predictable it was. The foreshadowing was heavy-handed and Glitch really doesn't glitch as much as you'd expect, not having much of a brain and all.

I'm hoping the second installment is better.

19. didn't like the ending (Spoiler)
I thought it would have made more sense if the evil sister had died when the witch left her body. The witch had been there for 15 years, so I expected some kind of corruption. Instead, the happy ending got on my nerves.
