I guess I hate America because I hate Christmas specials
Honestly I hate this time of year because of crappy holiday specials. The only one I really like is A Christmas Story. Every damn channel turns into the frickin Hallmark channel - I am sure even Dateline will have a holiday version of To Catch A Predator - Chris Hanson presents holiday chat logs.
I love winter because of snow and cold, and I love white holiday lights, but once Wal-Mart throws up on someone's yard I start to understand why suicide rates are so high - its not loneliness - its craptastic holiday displays.

1. I was thinking the other night, when the Radio City one came on, "What assholes watch this shit?"
And then I realized the more important questions is, "What fucking moron idiot assholes actually go to the fucking performance and watch it live?!?!?!?!?!?!"
3. That's what I thought. I know people who are all excited about driving
to Chicago to see this live!! And I knew people in Iowa who went to the one in NYC. From Iowa!! And I couldn't stand to watch it in my own living room with a nice warm beagle spread across my legs.
4. I used to kind of enjoy Christmas music - now I work retail
You haven't really experienced hell on earth until you've listened to Christmas music for 8 hours straight while dealing with harassed and cranky customers. It's enough to turn anyone into a Grinch. :nuke:
5. Yeah, me too. That's why I'm glad it is only one month a year we have to deal with it.
Although it seems like it's been coming earlier and earlier every year. And I cant help but think that it's all Bill O'Reilly's fault. Oh well, at least I get to watch my favorite Christmas movie - Bad Santa.
