was the phenomenon of cause and effect. The should be obvious considering the Buddha believed judgment itself is an illusion and therefore any judgment we make about Karmic effects also an illusion.

MY definition of karma is the only thing I believe in, the what-goes-around-comes-around stuff. I don't need a word for it but I do call it karma in my head. And I don't think it needs a creator to exist.
I think it has a lot to do with the raping of the Earth by humans, we'll fight for God and money but we won't fight to save the future of the animals and seas and stuff, so we WILL pay (not to get political in the lounge though, sorry!)
